Eat.Pray.Love

I love it
It took me just 3 days to finish reading Eat.Pray.Love by Elizabeth Gilbert. I love the book. Normally, when you reach the last page of a book, you know that's the ending, but with this book the ending is like the beginning of more questions about life; instead of conclusion, it begs more questions. I won't elaborate in details what makes me fell in love with this book. You got to read it yourself :-)

Just last weekend, I bought another book by her, Committed. It's the continuation of her previous book. So far, I like this quote "Marriage becomes hard work once you have poured the entirity of your life expectations for happiness in the hands of one mere person". Hmm...something to think about :-)

Oh, did I tell you that the movie on this book will be out by end of this year? I'm so looking forward to the movie! And guess what? On screen, Julia Robert is Elizabeth Gilbert. Can't wait. So excited. Huhu!

Maybe I will blog about Committed once I finish reading it. Till then, muahhhh!

Have you found your soul mate?

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master..."

Double Celebrations, Double Happiness

Gong Xi Fa Chai!

As usual, hubby and I don't really celebrate valentine's day, sebabnya..everyday pun Valentine's Day. So what we did today was, we went to Suria Sabah for the first time..apalagi, window shoppinglah and offcourse jalan-jalan cari makan. I think we spent almost the whole day there mengukur luas Suria Sabah.

What I love most about this Suria Sabah is the Times Bookstore...boleh spent masa berjam-jam disana. I was spoiled for choices but me being prudent and savvy..., I decided to buy a book by Elizabeth Gilbert-Eat.Pray.Love. I have started reading the book, and true to what others claimed... she's that good that I can't stop turning to the next page, to see what's next. Maybe will blog about it, once I finish part one of the book.

I went to Metrojaya...and I saw others (makcik, pakcik, baby, kids and couples) were also there to window shopping. Bila masuk Metrojaya, I feel like entering a Zoo or Muzium sebabnya semua orang pun just window shopping and some even ambik gambar dengan patung-patung and decor-decor...maybe mo upload di fb kali!Hahaaa...If this trend continues, I wonder how the Metrojaya can survive!

Enough about that. I'm going to continue my reading...I'm just thankful that I'm surrounded with the people who loved me just the way I am and that my friend, is indeed a blessing. Amin.

Love makes life beautiful - Happy Valentine's Day!xoxoxo
